This show embodies more of Hawaii’s nostalgic years during a time when the pace was slower and time meant everything. It was an era when songs such as “Beyond the Reef” (composed by a fellow Canadian), “Singing Bamboo”, ”Waikiki”, and “to You, Sweetheart, Aloha” resonated with the sounds of the ocean waves and warm fragrant breezes. But that is not all we do. We shall also perform contemporary hulas along with the dynamic drum dances of Tahiti. Audience participation shall be encouraged to learn a few moves to an Hawaiian song.
The show shall conclude with participants sharing Hawaii’s most famous farewell dance,”Aloha Oe”

This show has enough time to entertain you with the many hula styles throughout the ages. A slow sensual Tahitian aparima will be followed by a dynamic drum dance of Tahiti, and the show often finishes with one of Hawaii’s most iconic songs written by Hawaii’s last reigning monarch, Queen Liliokuolani , “Aloha Oe”. Kaiolohia’inanamoani will invite the audience to from a semi circle and join her in this beautiful farewell hula. This show is performed in three different costumes.
Children’s Parties

The children’s party is full of dancing and fun for all. Children’s hulas are performed alongside the kids, and sometimes the parents. Once they get started there is no stopping them, so there is continual dancing, a little story-telling by the hula dancer, for the entire time.
Kaiolohia’inanamoani will present the guest of honour with a quality plush toy. She will also dance to songs from Lilo & Stitch and Moana along with more traditional children’s hulas. A fast paced drum dance of Tahiti will also be performed. The kids will be encouraged to dance with Kaiolohia throughout the entire show. Grass skirts can be provided for the duration of the show.
(Events that are educational such as Scouts, Brownies, Girl Guides, school arts events and teaching, summer camps etc.. will be offered reduced rates and shall pay according to the budget allowed. This includes both shows and workshops.)
